I like this paper for lith and tonings, I like it less with warmtone developers. I favor it with cooltone developers, because it is a lot easier to achieve deep blacks and tonal separation. The benefit of high Dmax arises especially after brown toners.
The red window is taped black. I lift it only for film transport. Perhaps I had luck with this body, there is no leak and the shutter is close too. I have tested it without lens cap in daylight for some hours.
point made concerning warmtone/cooltone developers with fomatone... I wonder if the same benefits are apparent with developers that give warmtone vs cooltone based on their dilution such as LPD ? BTW, beautifully made photograph.
