I have liked plastic/fiberglass animals used for advertising ever since I was a child. I've taken pictures of cows, roosters, horses, etc. There are a bunch of Sinclair gas stations here in Idaho with these big green dinosaurs... They're my new favorites! This one is on top of the station in Emmett, Idaho.
This is a Polaroid type 54. I also made an exposure with type 55, so that I can print from the neg (which I'll do later).
wow..this brings back memories of my childhood...we had a sinclair gas station in town and in the summertime, with a fill up, the kids all got blow up dinosaurs to take to the beach...it has been SO long since i have thought of that...thanks for sparking that fond memory!!
