I never realized that these Dutch street organs of my home country also made it to the other site of the planet... That's the nice thing about a world wide community of APUG, seeing familiar things in unfamiliar and unexpected places. It opens up your mind to how small the planet really is... You made me curious enough to look something up about these things. We even have a nice museum in Utrecht called "Van Speelklok tot Pierement" that features many types of (Dutch) street and even really huge indoor organs of several meters high. Very impressive...

I got a ton of 35mm and 6X6 shots of this to scan, will upload some more in my gallery later on.

These things are wonderful and have a lovely heart-warming effect on anyone listening to them.

We are indeed blessed that folks still make and support them and that one made its way around the world!
