Jim, an interessting bit of architectural history...does the word Deseret appear anywhere on the building, cornerstone etc? Was wondering the date of construction, I am assuming it is vacant?

great photograph jim!

kind of funny -
you and i both do habs - stuff and in plain black and white
it says " no pictorial/soft focus photography allowed for submisisons"
yet we do this stuff in our spare time

i love the light on the right!

Yes, Dave, it is vacant. Don't know when it was built but I'd hazard 1905 and be close. I tried very hard to obey the no trespassing sign which is why I took the front off the lens to get this close.

yeah jim, i can just see the folks in DC --
"jet, jack, did you see this, what is wrong with mr galli's eyes, nothing is in focus!!" --- it would be bad, really bad

beautiful richardson romanesque- lancet windows, assyrian arch, brick corbeling + plating .. must have been quite a beautiful and important building when it was built!
