delta

I am working on a series using urban fragments, engineering and design as a metaphor for transformation and the cycle of life, birth, death and rebirth. I love the 6X6 format as it lends itself well to creating a structure of balance and symmetry to hold a certain amount of chaos. I am also exercising technical aspects such as framing and keeping the camera level and plumb. I also enjoy the banality of concrete to demonstrate that life and character are projected. It is what we see.

This is called Delta as in river delta, delta on the sea on tranquility. Acros is nice, smooth with wonderful tones, blacks and highlights. Some people don't like it because it is almost 'digital'. I shot both Acros and Delta for this series as I also wanted to see what the differences would be. I must say, the Acros has warmed my heart on this. Many thanks for looking and commenting.
