This has such a melancholy feel to it. Like viewing Nature's skeletal remains at a wake. The difference between Nature and us is that there is always another Spring on the horizon for one. And never more than a single wake on the horizon for the other...

A strong composition and presence.

Thanks, Clive and Ken. The atmosphere in the scene was quite inviting, but the composition was limited by choice of lens and camera position, so I was happy to see that it turned out well.
