Dekle beach is approx. 10 miles from where I live. It's a nice place to stand and reflect after a long tough work week. This especially true when there is balmy weather at sun set.
Hey Andrew Thanks for the feedback. I learned a bit about pinhole last p.m. when I shot these. First, because of its inherent simplicity there is a liberating quality to it's use. However, I don't get the sense that it is a point-and-shoot camera. I find I'm actually walking around the camera and getting a more intimate sense of where it is placed. Paradoxically, with the rather extreme D.O.F. and very wide angle of view I am now doing more fine tweaking of its position before opening the shutter. I have thought that not having a lens contributes to the more natural luminosity of a scene. No "correction" and also no distortion, just light and film without glass (sorta like contact printing the scene ). You give up sharpness but you pick up a tactile quality. Plus there is a "fun factor" and that's worth something too.
