Ok, sorry. I promise last pic of Bonsai Rock I'll post for a while. I just really like the way it illustrates you can have the same subject in landscapes and get such different results and feelings depending on the light, conditions, and equipment.
This shot is from the evening following the still water shots. It was very windy and cold and quite a bit later in the day than the others. I didn't have any filters to even out the exposure between the sky and the foreground. I just kept waiting and metering (kinda...I use an iPhone) until just about everything was within +/- 2 stops of the foreground rocks. I thought I was going to lose all the color in the sky. The red in the sky actually left right before my eyes as the shutter was open and it got noticeably darker about 40 seconds into the exposure, which I didn't account for. I think that is why this one is a little darker than I envisioned.
