I've been back and forth to this image a few times. I like the layered and criss cross patterns created by the trunks and branches

To me it's really interesting how the main trunks of the dead spruces go straight up, and all of the branches are perpendicular to those, creating some sort of discernible order to the chaos.
Very well done. I enjoy this a lot, but had to come back to it several times. It's really growing on me.
