Yes, I agree, even on my monitor. The original looks more "lively" with nice soft tones in the sky. This scan was not nice to this image.

I love the compositon, nicely done, awesome tree! Its always hard to get it to look the same as the original print, I'm sure the original has great tones.

very nice weathered tree ! sky also gives a sense of depth. I will be visiting Arizona in the fall.
