This area is a little jewel in south western province of Saskatchewan. The sky was completely cloudless when I started walking around the dunes, then this happened. Luckily I had the camera mounted on the tripod slung over my shoulder, ready to go... and the correct lens! I didn't expect the shaft of light either. One of the rare times I've been lucky. I should have bought a lottery ticket that day!

Lovely kallitype... Kallitype can be as expressive as Pt/Pd and this print seems to prove that ...

Are all the prints you've been posting going to be in your show? If so, it's going to be a hell of a show...

Hi Eddie, the one above, Broken, and 3 steps will be in the show. The group who wanted me to exhibit, asked if I could also show some other work taken in Canada... The show is about a particular closed coal mine in Japan. A group of people are lobbying for world heritage designation. 3 steps is from that series. I really hope it gets the designation, as that town really needs something positive to happen to it. I'll post another from the series, if I can get around to scanning it! Thank you!Thank you for the kind words, everyone. It really means a lot to me!
