Pretty. We had a total eclipse in the U.K., in 1999. I will never see another! Incredible. I did not take any direct pictures. My schoolteachers had told me many years before to project the image and that is how we me observed sunspots etc
I have been lucky enough to see in my lifetime Halley's Comet (last seen in 1986 and not until 2061 again) , Halle-Bob in 1997 and not to be seen for thousands of years. Fantastic photo but what an experience it is to be "there". Unforgettable! I remember being in my garden and how everything went quiet. There were bumble bees busy on my lavender. They all stopped and the birds stopped singing. Surreal
Hi @Svenedin Hi John (@jnanian )
Many thanks for yours comments
John, I regret of wasn't in Idaho enough time to taste (as proclaimed by many license plates) "Famous potatoes" from Idaho . We didn't know this specialty until we came here. We saw also advertising for the Potato Museum in Blackfoot ! Surely the next time .
I should do a little follow-up in the thread about my USA travel in "Geographic Location" forum... We was positively enchanted by all we discovered and visited... And I have a lot of analog photos to show, surely in the next months, in Photrio galleries.
@Svenedin : While in Roberts, just as the totality phase ends, and as light growing up again, I noticed a flight of medium sized birds, rather panic-stricken... Strange and beautiful experience over all !
