David Bowie, Beckenham, 16th August 1969

A picture which, for reasons beyond my control, actually made money and continues to do so. Taken by a photographer vaguely resembling me but 1/3 of my present age and better-looking.
Location
Beckenham Recreation Ground, Greater London
Equipment Used
1937 Rollei Automat, f3.5 Tessar
Film & Developer
Tri-X + D76
Ch-ch-ch-ch-anges! Wow! What a great shot! Probably get you a buck/pound/euro or three at auction!

I guess there is a reason why Tri-X and D76 were and still are a popular combination. This print has gorgeous tones. I'll bet the negative is easy to print.

Ziggy played guitar.

Awesome image-

This one pops up in the random gallery!!!!!
Too contrasty, the pole is growing from the top of his head and the white building over his right shoulder is distracting.

What a great shot! On a 1937 rolly.

Major Tong in all his glory.

Thanks for the original posting.

Boys Keep Swinging. He certainly seems happier than during the days when he took on the role as the Thin White Duke.

A really nice image.
