My work keeps my days pretty scheduled. It's not often I have freedom to just go and drive and shoot. So when I could, recently, I did. A dark sky preserve is a 2 hour drive from my home, so 4 hours round trip. Totally worth not getting home until 4:30 a.m. for!

basic levels, open up shadows on the ground/lake a bit, darken midtones/shadows in sky. That's it.
