For a very short time, in this part of the world, you get a brief sweet spot where the sun is low enough in the sky for some wonderful lighting effects, but it's not so freezing cold outside that you/your camera perish. Here, sunset light is reflected off windows on the building across the street.

That makes me smile. Definitely a WTF moment, makes me wonder what's going on, and I like that.
 
It made me think of the Jimmy Gagney films where a prison break is in progress and the searchlights are sweeping the wall for the desperate con :D

I really like the bike rack in the foreground, contrasts the linear elements in the rest of the image. The lighting is nice as well. -Doug
