I like this image with the top 1/2 cropped off. (The composition that I favor has the strong deep diagonal shadow terminating in the upper right hand corner--only the base of the horizontal crane? shown).This makes it a much stronger graphic image, in my opinion because it then becomes an image not about a "thing" but rather about form, line and pattern.

I appreciate your suggestion, and I completely agree with you. The crop you've suggested does make a much stronger graphical image.

I agree with the cropping suggestion as well.
I hope you will let us see the actual print when it is done. And other prints!

The Other Quiet One....

I'd have a hard time not including the "point" of the tallest building at the very top of the crop. The angle of that building continued down the crane cable to the next angle just wants to be in "my" vision of this image. It adds one more line that I like.
