It's been a busy summer and I have not had a lot of time to process film or work in the darkroom. This is one of a handful of 4x5 photos I took while visiting my brother in July. I'm proud of it for a few reasons. First, I'm usually a "documentary" type photographer, so I don't pose people with much confidence. I did a good job here. Also, some of you may have seen my earlier posts about problems using movements, processing 4x5 negatives and uneven enlarger light. I have grown beyond all that and this is, in my mind, one of my first fully competent 4x5 images. Nothing left to chance or luck. I controlled everything. I prepped the subjects to be ready when the golden hour came, and had my camera set up, film loaded, etc. Thanks for looking.
