Thanks Rich. Just using the light that was there, and making do with where dad was sitting. He does not have much energy, but he enjoyed the "sitting" for me. I shot with a couple of other cameras, whose rolls are not yet finished. Dad's brain still is in great shape - as is his vanity - but his heart and vascular system are wrecks.
Thank you, JohnnyW. Dad's left hand is very important to the photo. He is missing the tip of his forefinger that he accidentally chopped off with a brick hammer when he was a teen. He wrapped the nub in a handkerchief and went back to work. It is symbolic of the work ethic he passed along to my siblings and me.
