My into image to the gallery, glad I can finally share some work with you fine fellows...
This is a portrait of my once Philosophy and Government teacher.
After a solid 3 months of debating with him on the pros and cons of my photographing him, I finally convinced the stubborn bastard to come out of his shell a little and let me make a symbol of him.
He did his damnedest to shove out the 'modern American' in us and make us think and learn for ourselves like all youth ought to do.
Left his class with a new outlook on the problems we face here today and why our country is the way it is.
He died of a heart attack 3 months later at the age of 35.
This picture now stands as a tribute to one of the greatest teachers I've ever had.
