Did this last week. Hadn't done much wet plate lately as its been exceedingly hot here in Texas.

Taken on the bedroom window sill in late afternoon sunlight.
Orchids are such beautiful flowers.

the texture in the flower is so sweet and subtle.
and that streak behind mimics the stem in such a beautiful way.

I guess sometimes the "flaws" inherent in wet plate are serendipitous.

Its been tough to get comfortable with them. but I'm learning to embrace it.
