I stopped to take a photo over the gate. It was meant to be a scenic image of clouds, trees, mountain, and a field with a few horses in the middle. The horses headed straight for me before I'd even taken a light reading. I had to back up so I didn't have a nose right on the lens. They were very curious about the strange box I was holding.
Shhhhh! Don't tell them that story. What you really did was spent 1/2 hour setting it up, tying the horse to the spot and clamping the vegetation just so to frame the background. Then you waited another 20 minutes to catch the shadow from the ear falling down the horse's face and just off the eye.
