Revisited this small coffee cream pitcher whose shape I really like. I set the focus on the front edge with the lens wide open throwing the rest into a slight soft focus effect.

Yes, this pitcher is unique, a very nice piece of pottery and a perfect subject. The photo is perfect. A very pleasing image - I am glad you uploaded this. The shadow, the glaze without obtrusive hot reflective spots, the glaze smoothness conveyed to perfection. I saw it on the side when I was looking at The Prinz and knew I had to go back to it. Now tell me it is just a molded piece of everydayware easily picked up a reject china shop or Mikasa outlet.
