Crawford

After 30 years our beloved band teacher is retiring. Don faithfully and patiently (mostly) taught all 3 of my children their instruments beginning in 5th grade and going all the way through high school. He also taught them work ethic, tenacity, loyalty, and friendship. He is a treasure and it has been my dream to do one nice environmental portrait of him before he moves on. This and the next are my small tribute to Don Crawford

A fine tribute! Both photographs in my opinion are just fine! Jim, I really like the way you work.

Charlie..........................

Hi Jim
This one works better for me 1. it tells me he plays trombone as I did in the past!
2. it tells a story about his profession!
Very well done!
Armin

Good portraits with respect and dignity but also sensitivity. I am sure he treasures them!

So if school lets out at 3:00...

...who says 8x10" is a slow and cumbersome medium?

Photos of 'bone players always appreciated here.

this is beautiful jim
with your portraits, you really see who a person is
( the stuff under "the layer" we show to the rest of the world.)

thanks for posting these
