Cranberry Narrows

This is a colour photo printed in a lab with no darkroom alterations. The Cranberry Narrows are located in fron of my home. The photo was shot at dawn before the sun came over the horizon. 100 ASA film with tripod and cable release.

Nice capture of one of those fleeting moments in nature. The shimmer on the water is beautiful! The symetrical composition is appropriately calm.

I am surprised however by the apparent grain in the forground (and maybe the shadows). Also I feel the image would benefit from shadow areas that get closer to true black.
