Beautiful image. Well captured. I wish I'd find some of the old negatives I've lost over the years... and the one I know was stolen by a jealous (and less competent) photographer.
 
That really is a fantastic photograph. Like a whirlwind. The action is very real and tangible. Very well done!

I saw this while at work today, browsing APUG and was struck by its utter raw feel. I think in part to that Rodinal induced graininess, but also the facelessness of that cowboy. More a symbol of a way of life. An epic image. K
 
It is interesting to see these shots together. All the others except this one are XP2. This has great impact and is probably the "best shot" but I much prefer the look of those on XP2. We see very few XP2 shots here on APUG but looking at these I begin to understand why its Frances Schultz's favourite.

I've been so impressed that I'll now make a point of getting a cassette of XP2+ and giving it a go in the near future.
