It was a very nice couple who I promised a print to.. however I was very unhappy with the original neg and so i never contacted them =[.

This is timeless. Is that a wineglass in his hand?

yeah they both have wine glases. you can see them clearly in the larger print.

I say contact them...while you might have technical issues with it, the photograph will probably bring back great memories for them!

Pfeiffer Beach! A great place, wonderful image. A hard place to shoot late
in the day.

I would also suggest that you contact them with a print.

Many years ago I was photographing a church in the middle of nowhere when a little old lady asked if I would like to see the inside. Inside I went and I took a couple of shots but I really only worked on the gargoyles.

Later on I printed one of the gargoyle prints to 8x10 and also one of the inside shots of something the old lady was proud of.

Some time later I received a letter written in very shakey writing thanking me enormously for the unexpected prints.

Apparently she had been promised prints quite a few times before and never received them.

By the way I think this has possibilities, otherwise I woldn't have clicked on the thumbnail.
