That's at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, PA. The train runs several short trips each day.

I think the grain fits the gritty subject matter very nicely.

Nice shot. I was drawn to this because of the thumbnail where the miniature size made it look like the engine had a face as in a series of kids' books about steam engines in the U.K. where they all have human faces and names such as Gordon etc

Doesn't look very grainy which is fine by me as I am not a fan of grain but scanned shots on a screen are not a good representation of a print.

The smoke stack is wonderful

I love the look of this, It does look like an old photograph to me. The grain suits it especially in the steam

Love the picture Eddie but somehow I don't associate grain with antiquity. Most old photos aren't very grainy as the fast emulsions came later. Grain always says 1960's Tri-X 35mm to me. As far as the subject and how it's executed, Lucius Beebe, look out.
