Cottonwood

Our dog had been setting under the tree in the shade watching me which prompted me to take the picture and title it Welcome Home. By the time I clicked the shutter he had moved on to more curious adventures. Thus I was left with simply Cottonwood.

At least the clouds co-operated, it looks like you caught them when they "echoed" the tree's outline. Great shot Bruce!

It is a tree at the top of a hill and just on a bend where the road turns and goes on to who knows where. The above statement reveals that the picture is about nothing or it describes a scene that has impact for reasons that I cannot actually enunciate. I belong in the "or " category. I likes dogs and without the dog I cannot say for definite but I suspect the dog might not have added anything to the sceneIt works if when on your wall the viewer is prompted to ask: "Where was this?" I'd ask
