Cool and calm

Twilight at Porth Nanven. Had to wait 45 mins for some other twits with their cameras (rear view screen equipped) on the shoreline to pack up and go home since they were in my shot. This is a 2 minute exposure. The one after this was 8 minutes, but not developed the film yet.

I really like these, this one is my favorite, looking forward to the 8 minute version.

This works very well Baxter. I really have to get a handle on how to make water look like this as my shots never do!

Beautiful Baxter! I must visit Cornwall again someday. Such a photogenic coastline!

Hey, I like this Baxter. It will be interesting to see the 8 min exposure, but this will take a lot of beating for sure.

Thanks very much for the comments.

I'm in a real dilemma about the other sheet of film. I kept extending exposure time as it got so gloomy. Now I can't decide whether or not to push it half a stop. Also the moonlight started glinting off the foreground rocks and unsure if this will register or not.

When the stream is flowing appreciably, a viewpoint up the beach seems to work well at this spot. This one was awkward, I was straddling rocks having no wellies with me and trip to camera bag was quite awkward. Hanging around for this length of time meant that I'd earned my pint in the First and Last when heading back to base!
