Quite right, there is nothing like the sound of four P&W's at full noise. The Connie was the only one there, not really an air show, just displaying the newly re-furbished Constellation. BTW, this aircraft had been mothballed in the US and rescued by an Australian group and flown out here. They were top intercontinental airliners back in the day before planes were just cattle trucks!
Nice shot. I love to document that which I know in twenty years is very likely to be no more. I was lucky enough to be at the general avaition end ofi our local big airport - YYZ, having been tipped off by a friend of the grandson of the old crumudgeon one of the last times that Carl, of namesake Millardair reved up the old DC-3 and DC-4 before they got parted out when he prepared to demolish the old hangars. they were stored in a few years before he died.
