Connaught Beach2

I like the sea and foliage effect but I'd have expected a much darker sky with HIE which would look better above the foliage. I am not familiar with a cokin 003 red but my red filter creates a much darker effect with Ilford SFX which has nowhere near the infra-red range of HIE.

I believe the Cokin 3 is a Wratten 25. I was facing somewhat toward the sun- would that lighten the sky? Or maybe I'm using too much exposure (this was done with film rated at iso200). I seem to get similar skies with the majority of the shots I've done so far, rating at this speed. Thanks for your comment.
