Ah, thank you. Leaves were a kind of deep purple and some fuzzy, dark, reddish bits in there, too. I like the tonality, as well, but my scan could probably be better (still very much learning how to use the scanner and post-process). Wasn't able to get both the arbor and the plants in the distance sharp so decided to key on what would, I thought, make the most impact. The 'tension' of the string against the space beyond and the high-keyed flower just above the post really caught my eye, against the dark leaves, and I wanted to be a little off-center. I never noticed that upper left-hand corner (lack of detail on leaves), but you're right. Thanks for pointing that out(!). Hmmm.......
