Tarsier And Baby #1

First print out from my latest trip to Bohol in the Philippines. I photographed this Tarsier with baby at a Tarsier farm. The Philippine Tarsier is one of the smallest primates on earth and they are a shy, nocturnal animal.
Location
Bohol Philippines
Equipment Used
RZ67ProII, 140 macro and tripod
Exposure
F 2.8 (1 sec)
Film & Developer

Very surreal, but a beautiful picture! The highlights practically explode.

What is a tarsier farm? Are these raised as pets by chance? I'd like to see more photographs of these creatures.

Thanks for the comments; I really enjoyed these little ones. A real challenge to photograph because during the daytime they go up high in the branches were it is cool and out of the daylight. So trying to set up and move in quickly and quietly (with tripod) without disturbing them is quite pain staking. The Philippine tarsier is considered an endangered species and protected by the Govt. Most people outside of the Philippines do not even know they exist. They are not raised as pets. I have a few other images I am working on, will post when done. I am definitely going to plan a longer time to photograph them on my next trip to Bohol. If your interested Google "Philippine Tarsier" there are alot of sites with pics that are more informative than I am currently on them. Thanks Scott

How about a costume on one of them? Is that something one of the tamer ones would allow ?
