Been wanting to try the Cromoskedasic process for a while. Just spent two afternoons in the darkroom before I finally achieved something I like. Not an easy process, but certainly fun!
Dan, it's a post developing process using an activator and stabilizer. I'm not much of a chemist, so I can't really explain it. There seem to be two authorities on the subject. I kind of like Ms. Anderson's process for two reasons: First, it is simpler, not requiring so many solutions, and you actually hand paint the chemicals on the print, so you can have the various affected areas where you want them.
This one is very impressionistic. I've seen a number of examples from Wolfgang Moersh but none quite like this. Seems to be quite a wide spectrum of effects, which makes it very personalized and unique and when you come across one that fits, it seems like magic. Thanks for sharing.
Good first efforts - I'm not giving up on the process yet and will try some more. Were you able to get any colors other than the brownish from the developer? I was never able to get the midtones/shadows to turn any different color at all.

I could get some really nice reds and oranges by not using additional developer. The problem, as I noted. is that the fixer fades them out. Actually, if I put this in a show, I'll probably use one of the lighter versions, as this seems a bit over the top to me. I'm going to take it to the next meeting of our Livingston Fine Art Association and see what they think.
