Evening Shot at Gunwharf Quays

Evening Shot at Gunwharf Quays

I was taking a series of shots of the "Spinnaker" when I saw the sun giving a nice effect on the water. I thought Silouhette and this was the result. I like it.

The silloutte was a good idea. The placement of the camera to show the shapes against that light was not well chosen. Try again.

On the original print, the shapes are more defined. I don't whether it is my scanner but the whole picture is really dark. I still like it though and it will be submitted onto my board

I forgot to mention, I used Grade 5 to punch up the blacks and in doing so lose the sky. Then I burned in the sky on grade 0 for 26 secs.
MAn this Photoshop is great (darkroom style).
