While the Effie Yaw nature center is a protected area, the deer are pretty used to humans. You can get about 30 ft (10 meters?) away if you are careful.

There are no fences, and the deer will sometime wander into neighboring yards to eat flowers and other treats.

This was taken with a 90mm lens on the Mamiya.. I really need a telephoto for it, especially if I am going to do more wildlife studies.

Miles: I'm finding more and more that I like natural colors as opposed to oversaturated or off-balance color. It seems much easier to do this with slide film, as the orange mask+reversal of negative film is hard to get just right.

Animals in their natural surroundings. This is beautiful, whith its fine details and colors and the perspective given by the fog!
