Been a while since I did some paper negs and used my Petzval. I must be out of practice since it took several shots and a few screw ups before I got my exposures right.

He's growing up fast! Good to see that you are there making these great recordings as he does.

I have a nutty question for you: have you tried using your petzval as an enlarging lens? If so, what kind of swirls do you see?
 
He's totally in to Analog too, Keith (and only 9)...maybe he can inherit the Petzval ;-)

I haven't tried to use it as an enlarging lens...I am guessing that at 180mm focal length I would get quite small enlargements on my Durst M601...?
