Grasses In Snow

8x10 silver contact print.

Another reprint of an older (2005) negative. Trying to pull some better prints of what I see as my best work. That and I've been too disgusted with the weather to venture outside much this winter...

It's a real beauty, Shawn. I'm sure the contact print is amazing. I think you might want to correct the title, though.

hahaha

I'm so easy. I saw the title and thought, "gasses? in snow? Really??" I'm from the south and I thought it was something I had no experience with.

Nice work there, Shawn. Being new to 4X5, I can appreciate the difficulty in getting a large negative like that. Can't do it with your gloves on. Ground glass gets fogged.

Like musical notes.... the abstract quality just dances...... and of course, sings.

Thanks for the heads up on the title typo, fellows! =)

Rich, Ground glass fog up used to drive me nuts, I've been holding my breath and coming up for air intermittently the last couple of winters... And mittens that fold over your fingers for easy access has been a great help.

V, musical notes were on my mind as well. Seemed to me as though the top central blade was directing things!

Very nice Shawn.
