I don't know if it was intentional, but I especially like the touch of the one uplifted foot. It suggests something like a re-birth in the afterlife... or stepping into that.

Marco - the bird was actually placed in some water in the tin box and left to freeze overnight. The foot was in this position the next morning. I used some pins to open up the webbing.
