Could be an illustration for Lewis Carroll or Frances Hodgson Burnett, though the shoes are a little out of period I like the angle of the bench legs. It adds to the dynamic - a rare moment of stillness for both subjects?

Definitely a rare moment of stillness for the girl, but the dogs are English Mastiffs and pretty much lounge around the house all the time.

Wonderful shot. We have two mastiffs and I can't hardly get any detail in their black masks and tan coats. You have captured both detail in the mask and detail her white dress. My hat is off to you, your skills are extrodinary.
