I think the complete opposite and think this image is very well done. It conveys a quality of light and airiness that would be lost with a different composition. The church in the background and the light airy foreground really gives me a sense of place.

Leica's never cease to amaze me. I also have an M3 and sometimes the images are so sharp they can fool you into thinking they were done in a larger format. When I first saw this I thought Large format. Well done. I disagree that the foreground detracts.. Overall a very balanced image.
