I shot this image when I was in high school, I was either 15 or 16 years old. The girl is a friend of mine. Everything was staged. I wish I knew at the time exactly how injecting was done, but alas this is the image that resulted form that project. My teacher didnt like my work and I got in trouble for having needles at school.

I like this - a lot.

Images such as this one are not always received well. They force people to stand outside their comfort zones. But the medium can be a powerful one. And there is so much more to the world than just rocks, trees and streams. Not that just those are bad. But there's a huge world beyond just those.

You did well, indeed. Aside from the subject matter, I like the compositional weight and strong blacks.
That's a subject worth exploring and one filled with peril, left and right.
