Nice image, Ian, with a tremendous sense of depth. I would have been tempted to crop out the very top bit with the railings, though. It's nice to see someone else using ID78!
It's important to show modern interferance, luckily not too bad here in Turkey. I've usedID78 for well over 30 years, it must have gone out of commercial production when I was first doing my own processing.
Ian, I agree with Rob regarding the cropping. Not because of the modern stuff at the top, but to focus the picture onto the important elements, of which I think the Lions(?) feet on each set of steps really take on a new and more powerful part of the picture when the top is cropped.
Yes as it stands it is a great record type of shot, but when cropped slightly as a (sort of) enclosed landscape, it really lifts itself.
I like the image "as is" and agree that there are a couple other compositional options. Course my thought would be, this image and its pedestal screams for a female torso!

It has been known. I have returned to some locations with a model, my model of choice seems to have retired recently, she's worked with Kim Westen etc, but was great fun to work with, bright and articulate (we could swap Latin names of the Lichen we spotted just for fun) while keeping a tab on reality.
