Fallen Tree In Derwent Water

Fallen Tree In Derwent Water

After a brief burst of dawn glow the sky quickly turned grey so I moved from Velvia to Delta to capture this long exposure of a fallen tree resting on boulders below Ashness Bridge in Derwent Water
Location
Derwent Water, The Lake District
Equipment Used
Toyo 45A, Schneider 240/5.6

1 minute at f/45
Film & Developer
Ilford Delta 100 in Tetenal Neofin Blue
Paper & Developer
Forte Polygrade in Tetenal Dokumol then toned in selenium

None
Nice realism in the tree trunk; it stands out as borderline surreal against the smooth back drop. Nicely done, Barry!

I agree with the above ... great choice of film and technique .....

That is beautiful! I bet the print just shines.
