Chicken-on-the-way

Part of an assignment our large format group had for this month. I did a scouting trip with my 35mm first and snapped this shot. The "chicken" has been standing next to a major road here in Calgary for as long as I can remember. It has become like the spot on the wall. After a week or so you no longer notice it. People drive by caught up in their own worlds, rushing to and from what they think are important moments in their lives.

That's cause it's a rooster. Nice shot anyway!

I love this shot! The giant rooster/'chicken'...the zooming car with the zoom media advert in the background...the cyclist, the crooked can. All so much going on...my kind of story! Thanks for sharing it.
