American Geese

The "American Geese" are my daughters. There are 2 Canada geese and 1 Mallard duck in the photo.

The birds were looking for handouts. The original intent of the photograph was to show the chaotic environment we were in, with birds, kids, and kayakers in the far background.

It turned out humorous though, with the odd juxtaposition of the kids and the geese, and the flattened perspective making it appear that they were riding the back of a goose.

The unsharp image seems to be a recurring theme for me. I know I need glasses but i am too stubborn to go to the optometrist.

Even though this is a good example of everything NOT to do in a photo, I found it very interesting and I had to share it.

Incidentally I am reading "Alice in Wonderland" to my daughters right now. Thats a strange book.

How do Canadian geese get green cards? Must be a Obama thing.
