More on the old Velox from my buddy Richard. I've been using this ax since I was old enough not to hurt myself, it belonged to my father and his father before. Cutting, splitting, stacking and burning wood has been a part of my life as long as I can remember.
Nice! Brings back memories. I have a hammer that belonged to my Grandfather who was a blacksmith. Era 1890-1938 in this country. Even though I never knew him, I like to use it - it just feels good in my hand.
Thank you. I know what you mean. My grandfather died when I was two and I have only a few vague memories of him, still, I know his part in it's history and my brother's and father's as well. A comforting feeling.
