Angry Trout Cafe

Last year around this time, five APUG members met up on the Lake Superior North Shore in Minnesota. It's sort of a first year anniversary of a really good time, a memory that I want to last for a good long time.

I made this print yesterday, checking out a new paper, and I think I'm in love... :)

(The split tone of the actual print is very warm, and this will likely look too red if not a smidge purple on most monitors. It's not easy to capture the color of the original).

Andy, thank you! It's the Foma Fomabrom Variant 112 (matte surface). I used a little in the past, but now have conducted a proper bleaching and toning test with it. After forcing the issue with this paper I have discovered a new dimension of it, and it's really a remarkable product. The surface is super nice.

A lovely calming and relaxing image this, nice light and the softness suits. Great name aswell !

I thought at first it was overlooking a field .... or is it the lake ??
