How did you scan it so well? Sharpness, colour, everything looks like K64...curious because I have 10 rolls coming back soon from Dwaynes!

Just scanned it in my Epson 4870, adjusted the exposure using the preview histogram, everything else was set to normal.
To be honest I wasn't sure what it would look like, my idea of a Kodachrome is lots of reds, so taking a scene with absolutely no red in it near midday seemed a bit of a gamble. The scan looks pretty close to colour of the slide, I'm not sure if it's a touch blue, but when I tried to tweak that the greens went horribly yellow and looked like a digisnap :0).
The only real post processessing was huge amounts of spotting, unfortunately I have to concur with other reports that Dwaynes can send back absolutely filthy slides (my previous roll was spottless though ).

Great overall chromatic exposure, Crispin, I agree. And at midday to boot. I love your sense of expanse in this shot. Well done.
