The concept started as an idea of just shooting origami flower still life shots, but it has evolved into treating the origami objects like quasi-scientific specimens, dissecting (unfolding) them and pinning them down before photographing them.
Keith - I might try shooting a folded and unfolded version as I originally intended to print the two shots posted here as a diptych, but they don't work very well together. The folded/unfolded pair might work better than the top and side views I have tried here. No problem about the prints, I look forward to seeing them
